This is very exciting for me. There's this thing called nanowrimo, and I've decided to really focus my energy on Morgan's Run for the month of November, and, well, at a write-in, I met some folks and they liked what I'd written so far, and they asked me to join their group!
To say I'm thrilled would be a huge understatement.
We're all girls, all between 35 and 60 years old, and we all have dogs. lol They were totally floored Saturday by Morgan's Chapter 1, and had no comments other than WOW!
Wow. They said wow.
They all wanted to read more - especially the one with an agent, she read all I HAVE!! - and I just don't know what to do, who to tell. I don't have any family anymore, and my friends at work, while they're supportive, they also think I'm crazy to try to write a real book, one that's not self published. Because everyone knows it's impossible.
Maybe it's not. Maybe there really is a wow. I'm prepping 3 chapters and a synopsis to send to my writing friend's agent. Because she's recommending me.
I'm shaking.
Wow.
